In Judaism palm branches are symbolic for peace and plentifulness.
I believe that God is saying that Palm Harbor is going to be a Harbor of peace and plentifulness.Isaiah 60 says that the “Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the Nations will come."
I believe that kings (in finance, business etc.) will be drawn to the light that shines from the Harbor. This light is the peace of God. And the peace of God is the rule and reign of christ through us. It is the government and the governance of God. By His grace, we will present to nations and kings treaties of peace. This is what nations and kings are looking and longing for. God says in Isaiah 60: “I will make peace your governor and righteousness your ruler." The Palm tree is symbolic for peace.
Palm Harbor --> Peace Harbor
And in return for the treaties of peace, kings will bring their wealth on the seas and the riches of the Nations into the Harbor. The second meaning of the Palm is plentifulness. Nations and kings will be so thankful for receiving the government of God, that in return they will bring their wealth as a thank-offering. They will understand that the best investment they can ever make is in the Kingdom of God. We must get ready to be able to steward all that wealth.Isaiah 60:11 “Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations—their kings led in triumphal procession." It is not something that is going to happen once. It is going to be a continuation.It is not a coincidence that we are called to Palm Harbor or Peace Harbor! We are the Peace of God in Palm Harbor and we are the rule and the reign of Christ in this Harbor. Nations and kings will come to our light (Christ in us) and bring their wealth.This also ties in with the other words on finance and business that were released during the Summit.
Also in Roman times the palm branch was a symbol of triumph and victory. The Romans rewarded champions of the games and celebrated successes in war with palm branches. I believe Holy Spirit is saying that the champions and warriors are actually “the sons that come from afar” (Isaiah 60) and they will be be rewarded and their successes in war will be celebrated in Palm Harbor.
